Handi*Camp

Once again, I had SO much fun at Handi*Camp! My favorite part was swimming in the pool. We also played baseball, had Bible study, played Bocce ball went on a picnic & much more. My counselor, Sam was great!!

Me & my fun counselor, Sam. She came all the way from Nebraska & volunteered her time-isn't that just GREAT!? We had so much fun together. I'm so happy the Lord brought her into my life.

We did a program for our parents on Friday afternoon before we went home. I loved spinning while everyone sang.

After the program we enjoyed a treat of cookies, pretzels & lemonade. I was in the cooking class so I helped make the cookies for the snack. And mom said they were delicious. (I couldn't try them cause they weren't gfcf or egg free)

I was kinda sad about leaving all my friends behind when it was time to go home but hopefully I will see them again next year.

This week is my first week of day camp for the summer & I'm having fun!

Busy Summer Days

Wednesday morning my mom, Preston, Larissa, Serenity, me & my TSS, Alysa went to the annual farm days at Oregon Dairy Farm Market. They have lots of fun activities to do & animals to see but there were WAY too many people there for my liking so I had many meltdowns. :( I was happy about the free popcorn though & mom even left me have a wee bit of ice cream. :) I enjoyed the wagon ride over to the farm. The tractor pulled a big wagon that we could all sit on. They took us right through the middle of the dairy barn-the cows were a bit too close for my liking.

Welcome to my blog!

My mom just set up this blog for me so that I could share what I am up to & you will all know what is going on in my life. And I can also practice my typing skills occasionally. My mom is doing the typing for me today, though. Yesterday I had speech therapy in the morning & I did very well. Ms. P was glad that I was more cooperative than I was last week. Mom ran out of my one med & I just feel very irratible when I don't have it. :( I am sad that school is over but I'm also excited about going to camp again. We always have lots of fun at camp. Next week I go to Handi*Camp in New Jersey. It is awesome! Mom & Dad drop me off on Monday & will pick me up on Friday. We have a program for the parents on Friday afternoon. While I am at camp, Mom, Dad & my brother & sisters are going to the beach for the week. I'm glad I don't have to go along there cause I don't like the beach-the sand feels awful on my feet & the sun is TOO hot. I will have way more fun at camp-don't tell mom & dad though or they might want to stay at camp too. I am sad that the counselor I've had for the past 2 summers will not be there this year but I'm sure whoever I have will be great too.

Well I better go eat breakfast-I'm hoping I get my usual apple-I LOVE apples! I would eat several a day if my mom allowed me to. :)
